This verse pretty much sums up the Jesus experience.
Relationship.
Seeking God's Kingdom means seeking His will, and being a part of having it done on earth. And the only way to know God's will is to know His Heart. His desires.
That's the formula; Heart=Will=Kingdom.
True service to God must start from aligning our hearts with His. And if our physical relationships are anything to go by, your heart cannot be in alignment with someone you don't know. Someone you don't spend time with.
I promise you; He values our relationship with Him over our products [works, outward expressions of service]. Because it is through our relationship with Him that we will learn the things that truly please Him, and do the things that manifest His kingdom on earth.
And it is in seeking His Heart>Will>Kingdom that we will discover why "all these things" are just additions.
